What is LGC?

As the title asks, what is LGC? Lowrey Global Consultants is focused on leveraging our position as expats living in Japan to improve communication and understanding between cultures. With LGC’s skill set, the most obvious way to optimize this is to teach communication, human to human, but there is more that we can do. Having an understanding of the language, cultural nuance and the sometimes heavy burden of red tape inherent in Japanese culture can make us a logical partner for opening your bridge to communication. The bridge, though it seems a bit cliche, is the best way to consider an international consultation company. There is always a journey through the unknown to get to the point where we can arrive at the light, which in this case is clear communication and synergy.

At this point, the company is operated as a sole proprietorship, run by me, Todd Lowrey, based in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka. Naturally, with online capabilities or the ability to travel for the right project, LGC’s reach is not limited only to this area. I have lived in Japan for over twenty years and have spent time mostly as a language instructor, but also have worked in sales and helped facilitate simple business transactions. The advantage of keeping the operation tight is that I can ensure that our customers’ expectations are understood clearly and take the necessary actions. This increases efficiency and contributes to the success of projects. If I am unable to carry out a particular action, there is a strong network of able people to draw on to ensure that the desired results are achieved. As we grow, I will look for like-minded partners and focus on strong communication to ensure that there is never a sacrifice of quality and dedication.

So, what is LGC? For communicating internationally, for Japanese clients or for our internationally partners into the country, we are that bridge taking you from the dark into the light.
